VIDEO: 20+ Thought-Leaders on Video, Content, Inbound, and More

INBOUND 2017 featured a number of speakers that covered a number of different topics, ranging from video to sales to marketing, and much more. We sat down at the TwentyThree studio with 20+ of these speakers, some of the brightest minds in business to get their expertise on the role of video, storytelling and marketing in general. 

Whether it’s CoSchedule CEO, Garrett Moon talking about scaling from 0 to 1.3 million page views or HubSpot CMO Kipp Bodnar talking about their video strategy or Moz CEO Rand Fishkin breaking down how he grew his Whiteboard Friday series, each expert lends a unique perspective on how marketers can excel in 2017.

Rand Fishkin, Moz


Rand Fishkin goes by the ludicrous title, Wizard of Moz. He's founder and former CEO of SEO software startup Moz, host of Whiteboard Friday, co-author of a pair of books on SEO, co-founder of Inbound.org, and serves on the board of the presentation software firm, Haiku Deck. Rand's currently writing a book for Penguin/Random House on the ups and downs of startup culture, due out in 2018. In his miniscule spare time, he loves to travel with his wife, author Geraldine DeRuiter, and read about their adventures in her books and blog. Geraldine and Rand are also small investors in Backstage Capital and Techstars Seattle.

Kipp Bodnar, HubSpot

Kipp Bodnar is the Chief Marketing Officer of HubSpot, where he sets HubSpot’s global inbound marketing strategy to drive awareness and demand for HubSpot’s inbound marketing and sales products.

Prior to his role as CMO, Kipp served as Vice President of Marketing at HubSpot, overseeing all demand generation activity worldwide, building out the EMEA and APAC marketing teams, and managing HubSpot’s field marketing, localization, strategic partnerships, and social media efforts. Kipp serves as a marketing advisor for SaaS companies including SimplyMeasured, InsightSquared and Guidebook.

Kipp is the co-author of “The B2B Social Media Book: Become a Marketing Superstar by Generating Leads with Blogging, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Email, and More.” An industry-leading speaker and blogger, Kipp is also a strategic advisor to three companies. He holds a BA in Journalism from Marshall University.

Jeff Nappi is the Director of Software Engineering at ClearVoice. He is a content marketing innovator who has always been ahead of the curve. Jeff was formerly CTO of one of the first fully remote internet startups, he developed the technology for and participated in one of the first mobile and streamed internet reality shows.

Jonathan Dick, HubSpot


Jon is VP of Marketing at HubSpot, helping to transform how companies market and sell. Prior to this, Jon led Marketing at Trunk Club, the personalized shopping service for men and women, and was the Head of Marketing for Klout, the social media influence measurement company. Jon has a background in improvised comedy and earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
